Archive: HALLOWEASTER IV REVIEW!!!!!

Current mood: hungover

all day long the butterflies were buzzing through the stomachs of all of those involved. halloweaster is a great idea and one hell of a party but it takes a certain kind of place to accept the vibe of the party....

and O’Briens Ale House in coram did not dissapoint, the halloweaster spirit was alive and well (possibly at its best) there were girls dressed like angels, dolls, kittens etc...there were pirates, borat, zoro, even richard simmons..KUDOS TO EVERYONE WHO SHOWED UP IN COSTUME, LIFES TOO SHORT TO GIVE A SHIT IF PEOPLE THINK YOU LOOK FOOLISH WHEN YOU ARE HAVING A GOOD TIME!!!!

Slick River kicked off the night with a straight foward set of hard and heavy blues including their new song "Mexico" which i think is my favorite. if you like slick river they will be sharing many upcoming shows with us.

Then it was time for Harolds Trousers, bringing the flavor, gettin the heads boppin and the bootys shakin, and lead singer eric’s likeness to richard simmons was identical.

Radio 94 tore the roof off the place with a well executed set of great 90s covers by toadies, radiohead, and more and Groney’s Groney costume was an exact replica

then it was our turn, it was after 1 in the morning by the time we took the stage but the party was still at its peak, we gave em all we could, im suprised at how well my Amy Winehouse wig held up though it lost it somewhere toward the middle of the set despite how pretty holmes looked he was still shredding it up, we havent seen some of the friends who were there in a while so we gave them alot of the newer stuff including "3 cheers for circumstance", "foolish me" and our brand spankin new song "Splitsville" along with old favs "Nasty Feathers", "Miss you" (with groney) and ofcourse no great party is complete without a performance from Docta (brotha that night) Shocka

so thanks to you all for coming out and keeping the halloweaster spirit alive, thanks to Obriens for putting up with us, thanks to the other bands, and a very special thanks to Rob from Groove Shack, and Jessica from Roll the dice promotions for all their hard work making this happen
